Operating Room Registered Nurse RN

An accredited acute-care hospital located in southern Connecticut is currently searching for multiple experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse’s, multiple shift opportunities, to join their award-winning healthcare team!

This hospital is equipped to offer care to over 50,000 Emergency Department visits and over 13,000 patient admissions annually. The Operating Room RN will join a healthcare organization that goes above and beyond to ensure the highest quality of care both internally and throughout the surrounding communities.

The Operating Room RN will work within a unique surgical team that prides itself on providing cohesive and high-quality specialty surgical care. The Operating Room RN will work within the general surgery service line that provide surgical care for acute care and trauma, breast surgery, colon and rectal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, hernias, skin and subcutaneous lesions, as well as surgical oncology.

The Operating Room RN will function in a circulating and scrub role within the general operating room. This role is responsible for providing exceptional perioperative care to patients within the surgical unit by utilizing adequate patient assessment, planning, and intervention. The Operating Room RN will be expected to utilize advanced surgical technologies such as DaVinci Xi robot, O-Arm, Stryker Navigational Spine and ENT technologies, Zeego Hybrid Rooms as well as cardiac surgical practices.
