Operating Room Nurse Manager

An accredited critical access hospital located in the Cumberland Metropolitan area of northern West Virginia is currently searching for a motivated Operating Room Nurse Manager to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This esteemed critical access hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and is proudly affiliated with a regionally known health system. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will join a critical access facility that is home to 25-beds and offers both inpatient and outpatient services. This critical access hospital offers a wide variety of services including emergency medicine, cardiology, general surgery and other perioperative services, hospice care, laboratory, radiology, wound care, and much more.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will oversee a dynamic perioperative department that offers an extensive selection of surgical services. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will oversee 2 state-of-the-art operating rooms that include one procedure room and one scope room. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will lead a team of 10+ FTE’s within the Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Department. This surgical service line performs nearly 1,500 surgeries annually in a number of surgical specialties. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work alongside the General Surgeon and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will provide clinical and administrative oversight of the perioperative staff, schedule, workflow, patient care, quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, and fiscal management of the unit. The Operating Room Nurse Manager must have at least 3-5 years of progressive operating room and circulating nursing experience. The Nurse Manager should also have at least 3 years of prior Supervisor or Manager level experience to ensure quality management of the unit.
