The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work within a full-services acute care setting that offers regional leading healthcare. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work within a state-of-the-art perioperative department that houses more than 10 operating suites and utilizes the da Vinci robotic surgical system. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will lead a surgical service line that provides comprehensive surgical care for a variety of specialties including orthopedics, vascular, neurology, OB/GYN, bariatrics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotics, and urology. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will report to the Nursing Director of Perioperative Services
The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be responsible for the overall administrative and clinical functions with the surgical department. The Operating Room will have direct oversight of a team of roughly 80+ FTE’s. The ideal candidate for this role will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and will have experience scrubbing and circulating in the operating room. Prior supervisory or managerial experience is required.
