Operating Room Nurse Manager

An exciting new position just opened up for an Operating Room Nurse Manager to join a very reputable perioperative surgical services team in New Jersey.

Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Surgical Services, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing surgical service department operations, ensuring best practices, policy, and procedures. Additionally, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will be accountable for developing an operational budget and overseeing the department staff, including hiring, firing, scheduling, evaluating, continuous education programs. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be a strong communicator, working on multi-disciplinary teams to develop patient care plans and performance improvement best practice programs. 

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will have previous leadership experience with a seasoned operating room background; being CNOR certified is a big plus. Additionally, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will be familiar with patient satisfaction scores, budgets, and understands the importance of quality metrics. The ideal Operating Room Nurse Manager will be a motivated, critical thinker, excited to develop, introduce, and implement new initiatives and programs, while leading a team of highly specialized operating room staff and technicians.
