A non-profit medical center in the heart of the Pugent Sound is actively interviewing for a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to play a key leadership role in the Orthopedic Surgery Department.
The Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Supervisor will report to the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services. The Ortho Surgery Nurse Supervisor will lead 10 Operating Rooms that are designated for Orthopedic and Spine surgical procedures. These busy operating rooms perform a high volume of total joint replacement and sports medicine related surgeries.
This surgical leadership position works in conjunction with a dynamic perioperative department composed of experienced CNOR and CPAN certified nursing staff. Moreover, top-rated surgeons, anesthesiologist, surgical technicians and allied health professionals rely on open communication to ensure high quality patient outcomes. This advanced surgical team provides comprehensive pre- and post-surgical care for their patients through a well-developed network of rehabilitation professionals that are familiar with the surgeons that work in this orthopedic institute.
The Orthopedic Operating Room Nurse Supervisor will be supported by experienced OR Nurses and Charge RNs that work collaboratively to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient movement in the Operating Room dept.
