The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work on hiring, budgeting, coordinating with the physician team, assessing quality metrics and implementing risk management plans/performance improvement initiatives. To free up the OR Nurse Manager, tasks such as RN and Surgical Tech scheduling and daily operations fall under the Assistant Nurse Managers responsibility. The OR Nurse Manager will ensure smooth patient flow through the perioperative and perianesthesia units through collaborative work with Pre-Op, PAT, PACU and Sterile Processing Depts.
