There is a new nursing leadership opportunity available for an Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director at a leading hospital in Central Massachusetts.

The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director will join the progressive leadership team of a busy surgical services department that uses 18 OR’s to conduct approximately 15,000 cases annually in specialties such as orthopedics, cardiology, gynecology, general, and vascular surgeries. The department is proud to have a Bariatric Surgical Program Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Bariatric Surgery Center Network. The department was also recognized by Blue Cross/Blue Shield with their Distinction Award for Knee and Hip Replacement.
The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director will report to the Senior Director of Perioperative Services and will be supported to four service line coordinators. There is a dedicated Perioperative Services Educator that is responsible for the continuing education and department staff and precepting new hires. This leadership structure will allow the Assistant Nurse Director to focus their efforts on setting and meeting department goals and maintaining effective department productivity to ensure competitive operating room service. The ideal candidate is a Master’s prepared RN with a CNOR certification.
