The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director will be joining a regional health system that operates two acute care hospitals and provides home care and hospice services, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, and the areas only laboratory. The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director will report to the Director of Perioperative Services and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of 5 OR’s. In the absence of the Director, the Assistant Nurse Director will also have oversight of pre-op and PACU. The surgical services department provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient surgery with specific expertise in orthopedic joint replacement surgery and laparoscopic general surgery. The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Director will function as a member of the hospital's leadership team and will be responsible for staff orientation, setting department goals, and maintaining effective department productivity. The ideal candidate is a Master’s prepared RN with a CNOR certification.
