Specific responsibilities for the BSN-educated OR Assistant Manager RN include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing the unit’s day to day clinical operations.
- Practice standards, staffing, payroll, budgets, fiscal management, and quality improvement.
- Ensuring highest quality of care.
- Developing and implementing action plans to improve staff development.
- Supervising the unit of 20 – 60 employees, depending on the shift.
- Investigating and resolving patient/family member concerns regarding patient care.
