The Oncology Staff Nurse will be working with a team of exceptional Oncology Registered Nurses, all dedicated to providing the best in quality care. The multidisciplinary team that works on this unit is comprised of Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Oncology Nurses, Charge Nurse, Infusion RN’s, Physical Therapists, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and others, all working together to deliver exceptional care. This unit is big on education and will help their next Oncology Staff Nurse obtain their OCN certification so that they can expand their knowledge base and be a high caliber team member.
As the Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse, you are responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide exceptional care, while adhering to evidence-based practice standards. This role requires a nurse with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can come into work each and every shift with a smile on their face, ready to make a difference through the care they provide. Previous experience dealing with a full spectrum of oncology patients will allow the Oncology Staff Nurse to deliver outstanding comprehensive care to their patients.
