An exciting growth opportunity has recently opened for a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the clinical performance and operations of a busy Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) Services at this excellent Central Texas Medical Center.

Reporting to the Nurse Director of Cardiac Services, the Nursing Supervisor of Cardiac Cath (Catheterization) Services will play a crucial role in leading clinical and administrative operations within this unit. Serving as a champion for great patient care, the Supervisor will collaborate with leaders from Intensive Care, Surgical Services, and Medical Surgical to contribute to improving the continuum of care.
Supporting the IR / Cath Lab Supervisor will be two IR/Cath Lab Charge Nurses. Additionally, this person will oversee an exceptional team of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology RNs, Catheterization Lab Technologists, and additional support staff.
Joining this busy Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Services unit will offer the IR Services Nursing Supervisor ample opportunities to lead processes for superior patient care, grow management skills and experience, and work under a tenured and compassionate Regional Director. Offering 3 Cath Labs, which work in conjunction with the Certified Trauma Center, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), and Surgical Services department, the Cath RN will be exposed to a great range of specialties and expertise.
The Cardiac Services Nursing Supervisor will oversee a busy Cath Lab department, as well as the Interventional Radiology program. This person will take clinical and administrative oversight of an outstanding nursing and support team, spearheading an ambitious quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiative. Additionally, the Nursing Supervisor will have direct impacts on the financial performance of the unit, support and develop educational programs, and serve as a mentor.
