This 20-bed Progressive Care Unit sees Post-Stroke and other Neuro patients who generally need a high amount of observation, but have passed the mark from necessitating more time in Critical Care / ICU. The Senior Manager will take over an award-winning unit that has a track record and history of delivering high quality care.
Reporting to the Administrative Director of Critical and Intermediate Care, the CV PCU Nursing Manager will take responsibility for clinical and administrative activities of a complex unit. Supporting you in this task is a CVRN Clinical Charge Nurse who oversees clinical leadership and supports staffing. Also reporting to the Manager is an outstanding team of experienced and cross-trained Cardiac Care Intermediate Care Registered Nurses and support staff.
The Cardiac Stepdown Nursing Manager will play a crucial role in the clinical and administrative operations of this unit, and of this hospital. This person will get to actively participate in the development and planning of the annual budget for this unit, setting and maintaining target staffing levels, and keeping a close eye on regulatory compliance for the Cardiac Intermediate and Progressive Care Unit.
