A rapidly growing hospital in South Texas is seeking a Nursing Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER to assist the department as they transition into a higher-acuity Trauma Center.
This is a unique opportunity for a Nursing Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER to play an active role in the expansion of this 450-bed hospital. The ambitious facility has recently received approval to nearly double its patient capacity in the coming years, and has plans to expand its emergency care services. Currently, the hospital operates one of the most spectacular Emergency Rooms in Southern Texas, with over 30,000 patients visits in its emergency department last year.
The Nursing Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER will report to the Trauma Center Medical Director, and will be expected to maintain constant communication with Administrative Nursing Directors. The Nurse Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER is supported by 5 highly experienced full time employees, including Trauma Nurse Managers, Trauma Staff Nurses and Trauma Nurse Analysts. As the hospital continues to grow, the Nursing Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER will grow their team by 1 – 2 employees.
The Nursing Director Trauma Services Emergency Room ER will be responsible for overseeing a wide scope of services provided at this Comprehensive Trauma Center, and will ensure the center provides the highest quality of care. As the department transitions into a higher-acuity center, individuals with management or leadership experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center are highly encouraged!
