Nursing Director of Medical Surgical Unit

The Nursing Director of Med Surg will report to the CNO and will oversee several acute care service units. In addition, the Director of Nursing over the Medical Surgical units will have several direct reports, including Nurse Managers, Nurse Educators, Physicians, and Staff. The Medical Surgical Inpatient Nurse Director will be responsible for unit workflows, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, oversee budgeting, staffing and evaluations. The RN Director of Med Surg will have a strong background in monitoring hospital policy and procedures, knowledge overseeing accreditation initiatives, and experience leading large teams. Ultimately, the Director of the Medical Surgical units will be a strong leader who is dedicated to delivering top-notch quality patient care.
