This small 35+ bed short term acute care hospital located in Western Texas specializes in a variety of medical services, including inpatient and outpatient surgery, spine care, and pain management. This facility also contains a 24/7-staffed emergency department, radiology and imaging services, and wound care. This facility is a part of a larger healthcare system in the State of Texas and beyond, offering room for career growth to the experienced RN leader. This hospital is well-known in the local community for providing high quality patient care.

The Nurse Supervisor of Quality and Infection Prevention will be primarily responsible for quality improvement and patient safety for this healthcare facility. The RN Supervisor of Quality Assurance and Infection Control will work closely with the Clinical Director to establish the quality and patient safety programs for the facility, based on data gathered about patient outcomes, infection control, and patient safety data. This role will also be responsible for oversight of the Employee Health department, as well as educating staff regularly regarding quality assurance protocols and procedures to improve post-operative patient outcomes. The Quality and Infection Prevention Supervisor RN will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, techs, and other medical staff to foster an environment of teamwork surrounding quality program measures.

This role is RN-required and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred. The Nurse Supervisor of Quality and Infection Prevention must be familiar with gathering quality metrics, organizing data, and performing instant reporting.
