An accredited Critical Access hospital located in Eastern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their advanced healthcare team.
This full-serviced Critical Access hospital is home to over 20 licensed beds and is proud to offer exceptional primary and acute care services such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), General and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, and a fully-equipped Sleep-Lab. Since its opening over 50 years ago, this state-of-the-art Critical Access Hospital has become a vital part of the community’s healthcare initiatives by providing inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
The Nurse Practitioner will work within a clinically advanced critical access hospital that is known to provide exceptional patient-centered care to the surrounding communities. The Nurse Practitioner will be expected to be able to work independently while being employed by the hospital. The Nurse Practitioner will work a full-time day shift position that does not require call at this time. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for seeing roughly 20-25 patient cases each day. The Nurse Practitioner will work within a team of advanced critical access clinicians including a team of Family Practice Physicians, a General Surgeon, Pain Specialist Physicians, Urologists, and an Otolaryngologist.
