A small, award winning not for profit hospital in Eastern Washington is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (nights) to join their Critical Care team. The AP Provider is a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant.
The NP/PA Critical care will be reporting to the Director of Hospitalists. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will collaborate with other Providers in the Critical Care Department to formulate diagnosis by priority and relevance. The NP/PA will work independently, but will be a good team player. The NP/PA attends rounds with physicians and works with staff to ensure a dynamic plan of care for the patient. Also, the Critical Care NP/PA will also participate in collaborative problem solving with physicians and staff
Ideally, the ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician will utilize evidence based practice guidelines to ensure quality of patient care. Other duties for the ICU NP/PA include prescribing diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions, pharmacologic, and non-pharmacologic, as needed ti achieve the best patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years working as an Advanced Practice Provider in an acute care ICU/Critical Care.
