A newly-created position for a Nurse Manager Telemetry Step-Down is now available at stellar non-profit short-term acute care hospital in coastal Southern California!

Reporting to the Nurse Director of Telemetry, the Nurse Manager Telemetry Step-Down is a new role created to support one existing Telemetry RN Manager. The Nurse Manager Telemetry Step-Down will oversee 56 Telemetry beds plus 12 specialized Cardiovascular Telemetry beds catering to Open Heart patients. As the largest unit in the hospital, all eyes are on Telemetry to set the bar for patient satisfaction scores for the entire organization.

The Nurse Manager Telemetry Step-Down will work closely with the RN Director of Telemetry and the other Manager of Telemetry to oversee the departmental budget, allocate staff and supplies, and implement quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Manager Telemetry Step-Down will focus on employee engagement and patient satisfaction scores.
