Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, this Operating Room RN Manager will be working collaboratively with the leadership team to help oversee the operations and coordination of effective cost efficient care. This role is supported by experienced and tenured Nurse Supervisors and Charge Nurses with years of experience and a love of their hospital.
The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services will get to work with excellent physicians, surgical techs, nurses and operating room personnel. This role will oversee approximately 65 employees and will lead the teams in the PACU, operating room, GI specialty care unit, and outpatient procedure units. The supportive and professional energy in this unit is looking to welcome a Operating Room Manager with passion for their profession and a desire to show off their natural leadership abilities.
The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will support collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. This position will also monitor and create the standards of patient care and nursing practice, ensure availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources. You will help develop the skills and clinical quality of your staff and be a mentor to those people you lead.
