The Nurse Manager Step-down Cardiac Telemetry will oversee a 30-bed Progressive Care Unit with a strong Cardiac focus. In collaboration with the Director of Acute Care Services, the Nurse Manager Step-down Cardiac Telemetry will oversee day-to-day unit operations, staff management and development, regulatory compliance, and departmental budget.
Reporting to the Director of Acute Care Services, the Nurse Manager Step-down Cardiac Telemetry will collaborate with the Nurse Manager over a sister Progressive Care Unit and will be well supported by a skilled team of PCU Charge Nurses and PCU Staff RNs. The Nurse Manager Step-down Cardiac Telemetry will collaborate with senior leadership on performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence and customer service.
