A brand-new opportunity for a Nurse Manager Perioperative Services OR PACU has just become available at a small, noteworthy hospital in Northern California!
Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager Perioperative Services OR PACU will oversee both inpatient and outpatient surgery. Supported by an experienced team of scrubbing and circulating RNs, the OR Manager will oversee just 1 OR, though that number is expected to grow. Patient volume is expected to increase with the addition of a new OR opening in 2018.
This 25-bed Critical Access Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center and provides crucial support to the surrounding area. The OR Manager will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. The Nurse Manager Surgical Services will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning.
