Reporting to the Oncology Service Line Director the Nurse Manager Oncology will oversee the clinical operations and collaborate with department leaders to provide the highest level of care. The Assistant Nurse Director Oncology will lead a team of nearly 50 full time employees.
The Nurse Manager Oncology will utilize their nursing experience to lead the oncology team towards the cost-effective delivery of quality care and superior patient experience. Strong communication skills are especially important to the Assistant Nursing Director of Oncology as they will work closely with physicians, RN’s and patients to coordinate an effective flow through the continuum of care. The Assistant Director of Oncology will innovate quality improvement projects in order to ensure the realization of department objectives.
