A non-profit community medical center in Northern California is now hiring for a Nurse Manager Oncology Cancer Center to join their well-regarded Oncology program.
Reporting to the Nurse Director of Med Surg, Oncology, and Telemetry, the Nursing Manager Oncology Cancer Center will oversee 60+ direct reports on a 24-bed Inpatient Oncology unit. The Nurse Manager Cancer Center will oversee all day-to-day clinical functions and will work collaboratively with the Director on patient safety and staff development initiatives.
The Nurse Manager Oncology Cancer Center has the responsibility, authority and accountability for implementation and maintenance of nursing standards, quality metrics and compliance. Strong leadership skills and a clear vision are especially critical during this time of transition, and the Nurse Manager Oncology Cancer Center will work to embed the organization’s mission, vision and values into departmental culture.
