The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Perioperative Services will oversee an extremely busy OR department with 15 suites and a staff of 140 staff nurses, charges, and coordinators. The hospital sees a wide number of cases ranging from general surgery to orthopedic and neurosurgery. The department is fully equipped with the latest in state-of-the-art technology.
The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Surgical Services will report up to the Perioperative Services Director and will have decision-making power over all aspects of the department, including daily operations, patient care, staffing, and budgeting.
The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Perioperative Services will collaborate closely with the Surgery Nurse Educator in new programs and policies development, staff development, new program implementation, quality management, process/performance improvement and compliance.
