The Clinical Manager of Critical Care Unit will be responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the critical care and step down units. The Clinical Manager of ICU will manage the clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
The Clinical Manager of Intensive Care Unit will collaborate with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision / management of patient care. The ICU Nurse Manager will report directly to the Nurse Director of Critical Care Services.
The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Manager will be the Nursing Leader of the ICU and has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance. The ICU Nursing Manager will be supported by skillful Charge Nurses and 60 FTEs.
