Nurse Manager of Infection Prevention

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Manager of Infection Prevention at a standout facility in Western Massachusetts. This is a fantastic chance for an experienced leader in Infection Control to step out and direct hospital-wide initiatives on effective prevention and education.

For more than 100 years this 200-bed facility has a long history of leading progressive care initiatives to provide additional services to meet the current and future needs of the community. With top marks in patient safety, radiology, and women’s and children’s services the Infection Control Nurse Manager will be stepping into a solid program, with a veteran team.

The Nurse Manager of Infection Prevention will be given broad oversight over all hospital department infection control practices, education, surveillance, and outcomes. The Manager will collaborate with facility staff in monitoring and reporting infection data, and lead hospital committees on education, policy development, and current outcomes. On a regular basis, the Manager of Infection Control will assess departmental procedures and reports to ensure best practices, provide needed training, and provide proposals for process improvement.

Situated in Western Mass, the Infection Control Manager will have easy access to all of the amenities of Springfield, but will still be just a short day-drive from Hartford or Boston.
