The ICU Nurse Manager will report to the Critical Care Unit CCU Nursing Director and be responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and services for the Critical Care Unit. To ensure proper staffing for the ICU the Intensive Care Nurse Manager will hire and train the unit clinical staff, oversee continued education, and work closely with the Director for unit quality and performance improvement.
The ideal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager will be a hands-on leader that can provide direct patient care when need and encourages and develops the team to perform at a high level of excellence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in critical and cardiac patient care, with prior leadership experience.
