Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Oncology

An esteemed acute care hospital located in the northern Chicago region is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Oncology to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Oncology will assist lead an award-winning oncology service line that is regularly recognized for their optimal clinical outcomes. The Nurse Manager will work among a team of board-certified medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and advanced practitioners to help treat a variety of cancers. The oncology service line provides treatment to a number of conditions including cancers of the breast, brain and spine, head and neck, lung, skin, prostate, as well as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.

The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Oncology will oversee a general outpatient infusion center that provides infusion services to roughly 30 patients per day. The Nurse Manager will have administrative and clinical oversight of the Ambulatory Infusion Center and Radiation Oncology departments. Under direction of the Executive Director of Cancer Services, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for the personnel management, resource maintenance, and fiscal budget of the designated departments. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required along with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience.
