A well-respected non-profit medical center in Northern California seeks a Nurse Manager NICU Neonatal ICU to join their growing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nursing leadership team!
Reporting to the Administrative Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, the Nurse Manager NICU will be supported by NICU Charge Nurses and experienced NICU Staff RNs. The Neonatal Nurse Manager will oversee the recently expanded Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and be responsible for the supervision of 80+ FTEs.
The Assistant Nurse Director Neonatal ICU will collaborate with the NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist, Medical Director, Physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess, and enhance patient care. The NICU Nurse Manager will provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and quality improvement. The Nurse Manager NICU will bring their clinical expertise to several long-term projects including throughput and overall length of stay, patient safety, staff engagement, and patient/staff satisfaction.
