Reporting to the Director of Neonatal Intensive Care, the Nurse Manager NICU will be supported by 8 Assistant RN Managers, 2-3 on each shift. The Nurse Manager Neonatal NICU will oversee the recently expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in support of 200-300 births per month at this facility.
The Assistant Nurse Director Neonatal ICU will collaborate with the NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist, Medical Director, Physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess, and enhance patient care. The NICU Nurse Manager will provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and quality improvement. The Nurse Manager NICU will bring their clinical expertise to several long-term projects including throughput and overall length of stay, patient safety, staff engagement, and patient/staff satisfaction.
