Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery

A short-term acute care hospital in the vibrant Seattle-Tacoma area is now hiring for a Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery to join their Family Birth Center nursing leadership team. 

Reporting to the RN Director of Women’s Services, the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will be well supported by two Assistant RN Managers for Labor and Delivery and oversee 300+ FTEs alongside one other Nurse Manager Family Birth Center. The Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will oversee the Family Birth Center, Labor and Delivery Unit, and Level III NICU. This facility sees 5,000+ deliveries each year.

The Nurse Manager Family Birth Center will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. The Nurse Manager Perinatal Services will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning.
