The Nurse Manager Intensive Care Unit ICU will be responsible for the clinical operations and supervision of the Critical Care Unit. The Nurse Manager Intensive Care Unit ICU should be prepared to develop goals and objectives as well as implement competencies on an annual basis. Additional Nurse Manager responsibilities will include: budget and fiscal planning for the ICU Unit as well as managing employee relations including staffing, training and education.
The ICU Nurse Manager will provide leadership and mentorship to critical care nurses within the unit. They will work to manage the Charge Nurse and Nurse Supervisor and will report directly to the Nurse Director Critical Care in addition to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO.
