The Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology Services will work for a health organization that is home to one of Pennsylvania’s top flagship Cancer treatment and research centers and is the largest regional provider of stell cell transplant services in the area--providing over 1,350 bone marrow or stem cell transplants performed to treat patients with a variety of diseases. The Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology Services will oversee a 25+ bed inpatient oncology unit with stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, biopsies, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma patients. Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology Services include managing day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, preparing for accreditation and surveys, monitoring the unit budget, and assisting the Nurse Educator to develop new-hire and current employee education programs. With a go-getter, positive attitude, the Inpatient Oncology Services Nursing Manager will be the department resource who is excited to mentor teams, educate individuals on best practices and techniques, a strong communicator working with multidisciplinary teams, and an advocate to their team, patients and patient families.
- Registered Nurse with inpatient oncology experience, ideally working in a unit with stem cell transplant and/or bone marrow transplant patients
- Prior leadership experience working as a Clinical Director Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse on an inpatient oncology unit
- Pennsylvania RN License (or willing to obtain license prior to starting)
- Fully Vaccinated - COVID-19
