Nurse Manager ICU

The Nurse Manager of this Cardiac ICU will direct all clinical and administrative services related topatient delivery at this hospital's 20-bed CTICU unit. The incoming candidate will have oversight of 45 FTE’s and responsibility for strategic planning, budgeting, and evaluating performance in assigned areas. They will also play a crucial role in the clinical education of staff to ensure competencies are maintained and staff recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation. The Nurse Manager of this Intensive Care Unit ICU will report to the Divisional Nurse Director of Critical Care and work with a group of experienced Critical Care ICU Nurse Managers.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven history of leadership experience as well as participation in post-operative open heart surgery care, as well as involvement in a CTICU, CSICU or CVICU. Experience with units running ECMO is preferred, as is an MSN, but professional experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
