An exciting new opportunity for a Nurse Manager Emergency Department has just opened up at a non-profit, short-term acute care hospital in beautiful, serene Washington State!
Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Manager Emergency Room ED will manage a dedicated team of 17 FTEs, including Registered Nurses. The RN Manager Emergency Room ED will oversee a 4-bed Emergency Room that sees 400 patients each month. They will have the opportunity to help the hospital obtain designation as a Level IV Trauma Center.
The Nurse Manager Emergency Room ED will collaborate with the Infection Control Committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The RN Manager Emergency Room ED will be responsible for the 24 hour supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
