A beloved community medical center in the Pacific Northwest is now hiring for a Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU to join their tight-knit nursing leadership team.
This non-profit medical center is well respected for high levels of patient care and close personal relationships within the community. Accredited by the Joint Commission, the hospital offers comprehensive services including inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical services, and diagnostic and emergency care.
Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU will be well supported by a team of 24 Critical Care Registered Nurses and ICU Charge RNs. The Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU will oversee a 12-bed ICU and work to increase patient volume.
The Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU will collaborate with the Infection control committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The RNurse Manager Critical Care ICU will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
