Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Human Resources, the RN Educator also works with Nurse Managers, Nurse Directors, and Nursing Staff to ensure patient standards are met in the hospital departments. The Nurse Educator will work primarily in the Education department and float to other departments as needed. 3 years clinical nursing experience in education and a BSN is required for this role.
Responsibilities for this Nursing Educator include nursing education and patient education. This includes acting as a liaison between hospital, patient, and physicians. Also, the RN Educator will educate patients about appropriate medication prior to treatment.
