Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of PICU/Pediatrics and their Assistant Manager, the Nurse Educator Pediatric Critical Care PICU will work alongside a PICU Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide staff education to dedicated PICU nursing staff. This 16-bed PICU sees high volumes of Pediatric Orthopedic and Spine cases.

Types of cases commonly seen in this high-acuity Pediatric ICU include organ system failure, organ transplant, complex chronic illness, and children recovering from heart, neuro, and orthopedic surgery.
The Nurse Educator Pediatric Critical Care PICU will collaborate with the PICU Clinical Nurse Specialist, Medical Director, Physicians, and clinical staff to ensure the clinical competence of all PICU nursing staff. Ideal candidates for PICU Clinical Nurse Educator have excellent communication skills and can facilitate strong relationships across all levels of nursing management. The ideal Nurse Educator Pediatric Critical Care PICU candidate has clinical experience in a fast-paced PICU setting, preferably as an RN Educator, Manager, Supervisor, or Charge.
