The Nurse Educator will join a highly motivated team of healthcare professionals within a private 75-bed skilled nursing facility. This center has been designated as a 5-star facility by CMS for over the past 7 years. The types of services the Nurse Educator may encounter in this center include occupational and speech-language pathology therapies, respiratory therapies, nutritional support, resident and family education, intravenous therapy, pain management, infection control, among many others.
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for the orientation, education, and development of new employees to assure each individual has the ability to fulfill the specified responsibilities. The Nurse Educator should have at least 3 years of long-term care experience as well as at least one year of management experience.
