Nurse Director Quality Risk Management

A Community Medical Center located in West Texas is in search for a Nurse Director Quality Risk Management. 

The Nurse Director Quality Risk Management will join an accomplished Community Medical Center in Western Texas. The Nurse Director Quality Risk Management will be supported by a Quality Analyst, Infection Prevention Specialist and Compliance Analyst. While receiving reports from these roles, the Director will directly report to the Chief Nursing Officer. 

The Nurse Director Quality Risk Management will work closely with other leaders within the facility to identify quality, performance and risk issues and facilitate the development of appropriate correction plans. The Director will provide education to medical staff, hospital staff and the governing body while also participating in the development, monitoring and reporting of performance improvement activities. While maintaining oversight for quality assurance efforts, the Director will act as a resource and mentor to the medical staff, department managers and administrative team. 

The Nurse Director Quality Risk Management will use their clinical communication skills to provide education support to the Nursing Administration, Medical Staff, and the Governing Board. Additionally, expertise in developing and managing quality assurance efforts will be an important skill. These efforts may include clinical quality management programs, Nursing skills competencies, survey readiness audits and employee satisfaction initiatives.
