Nurse Director Quality Improvement

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Nurse Director Quality and Patient Experience in a Coastal South Eastern Texas Medical Center

The Nurse Director Quality and Patient Experience will report to the Chief Administrative Officer Ambulatory Services, and will oversee a team of Infection Preventionists, Quality Improvement Specialists, data analysts and a peer review coordinators. The Nurse Director Quality and Patient Experience will develop metrics in quality and patient safety, ensure all policies and procedures are in compliance and acts as an expert resource for all hospital departments.

The Nurse Director Quality and Patient Experience Services will be responsible for organizational improvements and quality measures for all inpatient units, outpatient units and ambulatory clinics. The Nurse Director Quality and Patient Experience will be in charge of the development and measuring of various clinical quality metrics, and quality improvement initiatives.

The Nurse Director Quality and Patient Safety will be part of a large and stable healthcare organization, which is known throughout the region for providing the highest level of care with a commitment to quality and patient safety metrics.

The Quality Nurse Director Quality Services will have administrative oversight of the development and implementation of the hospitals quality and performance improvement program.

This 250 bed Medical Center is part of a large and stable non-profit medical center which has been a central part of the community.  The Medical Center is extremely busy, as are the Ambulatory Clinics, the healthcare organization has over 20 clinics throughout the region.
