Nurse Director Perioperative Services

The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will join a driven Surgical Services team deeply ingrained in the Hospitals ethics, patient safety, and achieving a culture of compassionate care. The Surgical Services Clinical Director will encompass the organizations goals and directives through strong leadership and being a role model to the staff.

Overseeing the Surgical Team with 15 full time employees, the Nurse Director Perioperative Services will report directly to the CNO, oversee Clinical Managers, Coordinators, RNFA's, Nurses who scrub and circulate, and Surgical Techs. The Surgery Department is small with 2 OR Suites and 1 GI Procedure Room. This position is perfect for a Perioperative Nurse Manager with great experience looking to further their career.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will include: overseeing the annual budget, ensuring all safety and quality standards are being maintained, clearly and effectively communicate to all employees within the unit and other department heads, and supervise/educate Surgical Nurses. The Hospital performs a wide variety of Surgeries including Orthopedic, General, C-Sections, Colonoscopies, and ENT.
