Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will lead a tight-knit team of OR Charge Nurses and Staff RNs. The Nurse Director Surgical Services will oversee the Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, Same-Day Outpatient Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia departments. Cardiac experience is a huge plus for this large hospital with 16 ORs specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Neurosurgery, and more.
The Nurse Director Operating Room will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. The Nurse Manager of Surgery will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning.
