Working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the Nurse Director Perinatal Services will oversee the administrative operations in the Perinatal department of a 40+ bed hospital. The Nurse Director Perinatal Services will provide administrative leadership to the Antepartum, Labor & Delivery and post-partum nursing teams to help further the hospital’s mission and goals.
The Nurse Director Perinatal Services is responsible for the development and implementation of quality improvement programs and department policies and procedures. The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will utilize their experience within a rural healthcare setting to effectively coordinate collaboration between department leadership, ensure staff satisfaction and develop lean thinking budgets. Leadership experience in high-risk obstetrics is especially important to the Nurse Director Labor and Delivery as this hospital is well established as an industry leader for perinatal services, as well as triage, antepartum, and PACU.
