An eight time “Top 100 Hospital” is seeking an experienced and vibrant Director of Surgical Services Nurse Director Operating Room Perioperative Services! This 300+ bed short term acute care facility has been rated “Top 50” for Cardiac Care and has multiple specialties to include Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology plus many more! The Operating Room Nurse Director will be responsible for the operation of the entire Surgical Services division. This busy, acute care facility performs nearly 16,000 procedures annually and boasts 29 OR suites, which includes 3 CVOR suites, 2 Robotic and 2 Cysto suites.
As the RN Director of the Perioperative Service Line, you will work directly with the CNO and have the opportunity to develop and implement the strategic and operations plans for Surgical Services. With 150+ FTEs, the Nurse Director will supervise the OR Nurse Manager, PACU Nurse Manager and SPD Manager. Additionally they will have OR Assistant Nurse Managers (ANM) and an Surgical Services Nurse Educator to lend support to the staff.
In this position, the Nurse Director Operating Room and Perioperative Services is responsible for ensuring high-quality care is delivered through leading quality initiatives along with the development and maintenance of ongoing Performance improvement programs including Lean Six Sigma projects, Infection Control and Risk management initiative.
