The RN Director Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant will oversee the overall management, policies and procedures, and budget for an inpatient 40+ bed Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
The RN Director BMT Oncology will supervise approximately 90+ FTE’s and will be supported by a Bone Marrow Transplant Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, and RN Education Coordinator. The Oncology Nurse Director BMT will have their Master’s Degree and strong nurse management experience in Oncology, ideally in Bone Marrow Transplant.

The Oncology Director BMT will oversee a unit that cares for patients utilizing CAR T-cell therapy, clinical trials, and allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplants. The typical nurse to patient ratio on this unit is 3:1 for day shift and 3 or 4:1 on night shift.
