The Nursing Director of Telemetry services will report directly to a progressive and visionary leader, the Chief Nursing Officer. The Nurse Director of Telemetry Services will oversee a busy 37 bed Telemetry unit and will be supported by approximately 112 FTEs with skillful Nurse Manager and Charge Nurses.
The Telemetry Department Nurse Director will have 24/7 responsibility for the department and will be accountable for coordinating the activities and providing clinical and administrative leadership for the department. In collaboration with Senior Administration, the Director of Telemetry will be responsible for the development of both long and short-range goals for the department and services that are consistent with goals and objectives of the hospital.
The Telemetry Nurse Director will also collaborate with the physician group throughout the organization in the care of the patient population and quality standards. The Nurse Director of Telemetry Services will contribute to the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the organization and is accountable for the standards of care and practice.
