The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will work within a full-service acute care facility that offers regional leading medical and surgical services. This medical center has been awarded a Grade “A” from the Leapfrog Group for Patient Safety, has received a Blue Distinction Center grade for Maternity Care and Knee-Hip Replacements, and offers award winning cardiac and stroke care.
The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will oversee all clinical and administrative functions of the perioperative service lines across two hospital campuses. The perioperative service line includes all Operating Rooms, Post Anesthesia Care, Same Day and Ambulatory Surgery, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia services. The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will lead an advanced team of 250+ FTE’s across both hospital campuses with support from Nurse Managers, Supervisors, and Educators. The Nurse Director will report to the Vice President and CNO of the healthcare organization.
The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will lead a surgical service line that offers world-class perioperative care in a variety of surgical specialties. The Nurse Director must have experience leading a robust team of clinical professionals across multiple locations and must be able to maintain clinical and administrative functions for both hospitals. The Nurse Director must have a Master’s degree in either Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field.
