The Nurse Director of Infection Prevention will be joining a 300+ patient bed, Level III Trauma Center that has been serving its surrounding community for over 75 years. This beautifully equipped hospital offers a wide array of impressive services including 24/7 Emergency Services, Cancer Care, Diagnostic Imaging, advanced surgical services, and more. As Nurse Director of Infection Prevention, this individual will be welcomed by a tight-knit team of healthcare professionals that work together to ensure that patient health standards are maintained. Responsibilities in this role include collaboration with Employee Health Services, adhering to the infection prevention and control policies that have been implemented, and tracking pertinent quality indicators as identified by the Quality and Infection Prevention and Control Committee.
Although not required, a Nurse Director of Infection Prevention with their Certified Infection Control (CIC) Certification and/ or Idaho State RN licensure will make for quick interviews! Prior experience in the acute-care setting is also an extra plus for the Nurse Director of Infection Prevention with this reputable hospital.
