For more than 100 years this 200-bed facility has a long history of leading progressive care initiatives to provide additional services to meet the current and future needs of the community. Recognized as one of the top hospitals for patient satisfaction, safety, and care for chronic illness, the Nurse Director of Infection Prevention will be joining an established program with a veteran team.
The Nurse Director of Infection Control will be given broad oversight over all hospital department infection control practices, education, and outcomes. The Director will collaborate with facility staff in monitoring and reporting infection data, and lead hospital committees on education, policy development, and current outcomes. On a regular basis, the Director of Infection Prevention will conduct data analysis to provide statistical analysis and reporting to hospital committees and staff, as well as education programming. With oversight of infection policy and procedures, the Director will be the guiding force of progressive infection control improvement.
